Children’s Ministry
Here at Pearl River Methodist Church, our children’s ministry is excited to partner with you to help your children grow mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Our desire is that each child discovers what it truly means to be deeply loved by God and learns how to share that love with others through a vibrant and growing faith in Jesus Christ.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church begins every Sunday morning at 10:00AM and is designed specifically to provide Christian education for our youngest disciples in a space created just for them. Each week is filled with meaningful Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and Christ-centered teaching that encourages children to live their lives for Jesus.
Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to go with our trained and caring volunteers to the Agape Center at the start of the worship service.
Students in 6th-12th grade are welcome to join us as helpers and leaders-in-training, serving the little ones and growing in their own faith as well.
We look forward to learning, growing, and worshiping with your children!
Children’s Sunday School
Children’s Sunday School begins every Sunday morning at 9:00AM.
During this time, children explore the core stories of Scripture, discuss what they mean, and learn how God’s Word applies to everyday life. Our goal is to help young disciples develop a strong biblical foundation and grow in faith through fellowship and meaningful discussion.
Sunday School is open to all children in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Nursery is available for children 4 and under.
Kids 4 Christ
Kids4Christ is our midweek “club” for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, filled with fun, fellowship, and faith-building activities.
Each week includes hands-on Bible crafts, engaging games, and short lessons that guide children through the Gospels and the New Testament in a creative and interactive way.
A light meal is served at 5:30 PM, and our Kids4Christ club begins at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays.
We hope your children will join us as we learn, grow, and experience God’s love together!
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Each summer, PRMC hosts Vacation Bible School for our members, friends, and the entire community. This joyful, week-long camp runs from 9:00 AM to noon and is open to children Pre-K through 5th grade. Youth in 6th–12th grade are always encouraged to join us as helpers and role models for the younger children.
VBS is packed with music, crafts, science experiments, games, snacks, storytelling, and so much more. Every activity is designed to help children discover the love of Jesus in a fun, creative, and meaningful way.
Vacation Bible School is truly one of the most exciting weeks of the year—an adventure of faith they’ll never forget!
